Story

Carny Barker started in 2001 as a Classic funk band. Starting with 8 people on stage, the first band was called « Les apotres du funk ». Of 8, only 3 remain.

Julian: grizzled veteran, Jb: the mastermind and Justin: the zen master.

The Carny Barker experience as we know it began when Guillaume « Ze good » Lebon became our official drummer for the following couple of years. Then came the times of change again, when Jean « Barluet came in and gave the final touch to the Carny Barker’s groove. Since 2006, Carny Barker has been touring in the region of Normandy and the north of France.

In august 2007, a big funky groovy turn in Portugal was the start for recording their own LP.

After several concerts and gigs, the 1th July 2008 their LP « Nobody likes a smart ass » is available
